Noel Mander Remembered in Fulton, MissouriAs part of the annual Kemper Lecture held at the Winston Churchill Memorial Foundation on Sunday 25 March 2007, a plaque to Noel Mander was unveiled by four of his children. The ceremony took place in the Wren church of St Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury, which was transported to Fulton Missouri as a memorial to Sir Winston Churchill and his famous Iron Curtain speech held there on 4 March 1946.
As well as building the organ at St Mary's Church, Noel Mander became the British representative of the Foundation and found many suitable artifacts for the church which are now used or on display. His last contribution was the securing of a pulpit from the Wren period which he had restored and shipped to Fulton. Mr Jack Marshal spoke of Noel Mander's long association with the Foundation and finished by quoting the words once spoken of Sir Christopher Wren saying "If you seek a memorial to him, look around".
